this work of art misplaced to win
with shape where grecian minds have been
did walk with grace and heart in hand
and thus he named her..."in demand"
now some with lust did try to steal
and take by force her walks appeal
this "no" that cried from bathroom stall
was heard across the barroom hall
though thieves were caught before they won
twas in her soul, the damage done
for now she walked in fear of all
that braved to breach her higher wall
for many came them bearing gifts
some princes sharing status lifts
this marvel placed at center stage
said "no" because she feared their cage
as "no" became her commonplace
that space alone she did embrace
she learned to navigate the claims
made by her suitors selfish aims
yet in walked one a quiet night
a stranger she says held her sight
with naught but soul sincere in hand
and thus she named him..."in demand"
