Brage And The Beast - A Poem By Moe

"I go where the wild things are..."

oh come and see this beast I know
whose heart is thick and rich
with introspecting beastly flow
that sees the bait and switch

it's teeth are sharp and made to tear
but soft in their intent
it's coat is plump and supple rare
but none with ease can rent

as beast grows sick to gaming way
it grows too big to box
as tamers pride with traps they lay
stress finding broken locks

with purple stripes and matching nails
it's scent of prema rose
draws many for the telling tales
to pride in what beast chose

but when they find they can't control
this beast whose soul is free
the bag of tricks that dug their hole
save open roads to flee

so what say you of beastly find
the type too fierce to cage?
to know one must be beast inclined
and match the heart of Brage...
