A Woman's Love - A Poem by Moe

"I know plenty of people with eyes closed.  They don't see you like I do
Darling I do..."

most little girls choose little boys
that feign the shine of tinker toys
but woman's love takes time to mine
as it flows tender, tough and fine

she has no time to suffer fools
that choose among the farmers mules
so seasoned by the grace of time
she parts the lemon from the lime

her vision tells her what she wants
and has no need for made-up flaunts
she seeks a soul to tell the truth
without the games played in her youth

to make the choice a woman would
imbue her heart of all you could
creating trust that what you seek
is more than lusted, apt physique

for life itself gives eyes to see
that souls with value aren't free
and if you seek her heart to learn
then woman's love is graced to earn
